Love-Filled Lemon Bars, for the loved-up couple!

    Ingredients:

    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    1/4 cup powdered sugar
    Pinch of salt
    2 large eggs
    1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1 tablespoon lemon zest
    Powdered sugar for dusting

    Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined.
Pour the lemon mixture over the hot crust in the baking pan.
Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the lemon filling is set and the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow the lemon bars to cool completely in the pan.
Once cooled, dust the top of the lemon bars with powdered sugar.
Cut into squares and serve with a sprinkle of love!

Enjoy these love-filled lemon bars as a sweet treat, and remember Shaz while you eat them!
Wishing you guys a lifetime of sweetness together!

You’ve gotta try Granny’s Chicken Noodle Soup

    Ingredients:

    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 cup diced onion
    1 cup diced carrots
    1 cup diced celery
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    8 cups chicken broth
    1 bay leaf
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 teaspoon dried rosemary
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    2 cups cooked shredded chicken
    2 cups uncooked egg noodles
    Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the diced onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
Add the chicken broth, bay leaf, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and turmeric to the pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Stir in the cooked shredded chicken and uncooked egg noodles. Cook for another 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the bay leaf and discard.
Ladle the hot and hearty chicken noodle soup into bowls and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve and savor the warmth from Grannys Chicken Noodle Soup! Just like Grandma used to make.

Love you guys. Let’s eat Chicken Soup together!
